Welcome to Bunny Hill Farm

Coming to you from Dutchess County, New York! My name is Yasmine...... I live here with my husband and my 6 children, Justice, Noah, Isaac, Asher, Petra, and Eden! We homeschool, homechurch, HOMEbirth(totally awesome, btw), and raise our own laying chickens for eggs, and even raise meat chickens from time to time! I'm hoping to get a couple piglets to hide in one corner of our 60 acre property, and hide from the stinkiness that IS pig before it becomes bacon.... Justice (12) takes care of her own 2 horses , and Noah (10)takes care of the laying chickens and the 2 goats that escape from their pen and have become our dogs that will greet you on our pretty front porch. Isaac, Asher, and Petra are best friends that most of the time are creating Lego thingamabobs...and Eden, my baby...she is my 1 1/2 year old princess.

New Blog Here!

    The baby keeps trying to get up on the table. Screaming is occurring downstairs in the movie room...and Petra (3) and Eden (1/2)  are taking a boat ride in an upside down footstool in the kitchen...just another night at the Slaughter's house...
  
What am I doing? I hardly have time to take a shower! Why am I blogging?
  
     I guess because all the smart girls in my life, the cool girls with the fun looking photo's of their kids, are doing it! They look like they're having so much fun!!!! I guess I want to document how much fun it is to have a big family,  homeschool leisurely, have a small farm, and raise my kids to love Jesus! I want to raise my children to love the Lord and it's a great thing to have your children safe at home from the filth that is so prevalent these days......I am preparing them to go out in the world and be super -duper,  wonderful, honest, God- fearing, fun loving people.....

 Right now I guess I'm going to take a ride outside on the snowmobile with Justice (12) to help her take care of her two horses...She would normally go alone in nice weather.  So maybe it's the quiet of 2 feet of snow, and some pretty creepy coyotes.... might as well take a partner, right?

    Jesse! I liked your SOOO much..I love reading it and loved the way you documented things kind of like a scrap book!

    Mom, the "favorite things" part was ALPHABETIZED automatically...
