   Nonnie was an artist and I have a few of her things! She died a few years ago...Truly sad for all of us... But I appreciate her things more than ever..... Oh the paintings were not all painted by her..just one or two, but these were all part of her collection...

Everyone is sleeping....

  Tea time!   As I am trying to take tea and ignore the cat CRYING to come in this house. We made the mistake of feeding a neighbor's cat and now it wants to live here...it's 6 am..and I am trying to have my peaceful morning tea and catch up on a few things...But this poor cat... It really is a sweet thing but it also had decided to make the kids coats on the floor in the mudroom it's litter box......hence, he's toast.

  So ..here is a big part of my morning in this picture...Holds enough hot water to satisfy me and the others who drop by for a visit...refill it once every day or so... I like the industrial look anyway....  See , STEVIA! no calories .... Silk milk.(I can't tolerate the dairy I think) IT's good, I love it.... And my pedestal..It was my grandmother's and she gave it to my mom...She used to use it for a little tv in the kitchen when I was little...Now it has a new life...
  I have gone through a few of these hot water dispensers..so that should tell you get a good one and YES ..I won't go back to a little pot...40 cups? yup...just my style....

    The baby keeps trying to get up on the table. Screaming is occurring downstairs in the movie room...and Petra (3) and Eden (1/2)  are taking a boat ride in an upside down footstool in the kitchen...just another night at the Slaughter's house...
  
What am I doing? I hardly have time to take a shower! Why am I blogging?
  
     I guess because all the smart girls in my life, the cool girls with the fun looking photo's of their kids, are doing it! They look like they're having so much fun!!!! I guess I want to document how much fun it is to have a big family,  homeschool leisurely, have a small farm, and raise my kids to love Jesus! I want to raise my children to love the Lord and it's a great thing to have your children safe at home from the filth that is so prevalent these days......I am preparing them to go out in the world and be super -duper,  wonderful, honest, God- fearing, fun loving people.....

 Right now I guess I'm going to take a ride outside on the snowmobile with Justice (12) to help her take care of her two horses...She would normally go alone in nice weather.  So maybe it's the quiet of 2 feet of snow, and some pretty creepy coyotes.... might as well take a partner, right?
